  1.Application field
   The present standard covers pipe supports of nuclear and heat power plants and defines the types of pipe supports:
    - from seamless pipes with outside diameter from 57 up to 920 mm of chrome-molybdenum-vanadium steel grades according to OST 108.320.103 with medium temperature t≤560oC;
    - from seamless pipes with outside diameter from 57 up to 820 mm of carbon and silicium-manganese steel grades according to OST 108.320.102 and OST 24.125.30 with medium temperature t≤440oC;
    - from seamless pipes with outside diameter from 57 to 325 mm of austenitic steel grades according to OST 24.125.01 with medium temperature t≤440oC;
    - from welded pipes with outside diameter from 530 to 1620 mm of carbon steel grades acc. to TU 14-3-808 with medium temperature t≤300oC.

  Pipe supports fоr nuclear power plants are related to the safety сlass 2 of Rulеs and Norms of Nuclear Power Industry G-01-011 and aseismic clаss 1 of Rulеs and Norms of Nuclear Power Industry G-5-006.

  3. Types of pipe supports

  3.1 Types of pipe supports are to comply with those stated in tables 1-8.

  3.2 Spring roller bearings (table 8) are to be used when is unable to use spring hangers according to OST 24.125.100. When required it is possible to use spring blocks acc. to OST 24.125.166, which differ from those acc. to OST 24.125.165. In this case supports are ordered as 2 different parts: shell, spring block, roller block.

  3.3 Maximum spaces between supports are stated in OST 24.125.100.

  3.4 Pipe supports assembling notes are stated in OST 24.125.170.

  3.5 Allowable stress fоr pipe supports is stated in respective standards.

  3.6 Stress calculation fоr pipe supports is conducted by JSC «NPO CKTI» in accordance with Construction Norms and Regulations II-23, Part II. The results of the stress calculations are at JSC «NPO CKTI». When needed calculations are to be reconducted fоr fixed pipe supports taking into account deflection moment.
